Basic Info BioYes, my name really is Jack Kass. My parents had a very weird sense of humor. It ended up being a problem one day...My parents and me, we were at a store, and I was running to get to the toy section. Well, I accidentally hit this big glass figurine at the end of one of the aisles. It fell, and broke in thousands of pieces. My parents were angry at me, and my mom yelled my name, "JACK KASS!"
Well, there was a social worker there, and she couldn't believe what she was hearing: parents calling their kid "jackass".
To make a long story short, I ended up being taken away from my parents. I made foster home upon foster home. I've felt so alone all my life, like nobody wanted me. There's not a minute where I don't think of my parents. I often cry when thinking about it. I'm crying right now. My parents, they were nice folks, who took care of me well. Eccentric, but good parents.
Social "services" forced me to change my name, I was given no choice. No choice as to changing name, and no choice as to what name I would get. Wayne Gretzky, the best hockey player to ever live, was very popular over here at the time, so my name was legally changed to Wayne Gretzky.
As soon as I can, I'm changing it back to Jack Kass: my real name. Some people may think "why do you want to have a name that sounds like jackass?" Well, it's what my parents named me, and I loved my parents...and this name is pretty much all I have left of them.
Excuse me, I'm going to cry again.
